Shipping
I ordered from Ikea on a last Sunday and it shipped to my house on Friday, so it took them about 5 days for processing, delivering, and shipping my order.
They delivered from California using FedEx. It just depends on how many items and how big the items that you are getting, it could go from FedEx to delivering by truck.
Shipping was not free, every time I added an item to my cart my shipping fee increased.
Alex Drawer/Table Top/Chair
So I got the famous Alex Drawer from Ikea. I was debating whether to get the 5 drawer unit or the 9 drawer unit. I decided to go with a 5 drawer unit so I can make a vanity out of it, because the Alex 9 drawer would be way too high for a vanity. I just bought one 5 drawer unit, because I don't want to accumulate that much makeup in my collection. I either want to use it and get my moneys worth out of it, give it away, or dispose of them. I feel like it's a waste of money to have a lot of makeup that I would not use everyday and just have them sit there. I don't freelance or do any makeup artistry stuff so I don't feel the need to have a big collection. If I decided to get more makeup though, I could make the other side another Alex 5 drawer unit and just take off the two legs, and maybe buy a longer table top so I can squeeze in the middle with my chair.
The legs that I got and the Alex 5 drawer are both exactly the same height, so it is perfect. The legs are screwed on the table top and the table top is just sitting on top of the Alex drawer, and doesn't move much at all. I did put a white liner on top of my table top since there's no glass top and it could get really dirty because it's white.
Pricing and sizes of my order
I was planning on putting a glass top on top of my vanity. I got an estimate from one of the local glass company, for a glass that would be a quarter of an inch would be the prefect thickness since it wouldn't be the actual table top, a tempered glass for a stronger and safer glass, and if it breaks it will break in big pieces. My estimate was around $58 but I wasn't sure about it yet especially if I'm going to get a longer table top in the future.
I also put white liners inside the drawers, so the actual furniture would not be dirty, and I could just keep replacing the liners over time. It was pretty easy to build everything. I only needed help with my wall shelves.
Even though my chair is white, I can actually take off the covers and laundry them good as new!

I did mark the walls and I wanted to make sure they were even so I used some tape.
I am planning to buy a white sheepskin rug to put on the floor or over my chair, but unfortunately Ikea doesn't ship them. I either have to wait for them to build the Ikea here in Vegas in summer of 2016 or go to California and go to an Ikea store.

I did combine two wall shelves on both sides for the bottom. This is the left side in bottom shelves.
I basically have my go to jewelries and watches, and also my favorite palettes on the other side.

So this is the left most on the right side. I have my favorite NYX Lip Products like the Soft Matte Lip Creams, Intense Butter Glosses, etc. I also have my MAC Lipsticks on the lipstick organizers.
On the right most side I have another jar filled with my other favorite lip products that are more mixed. I have more NYX some Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick, etc. I also NARS Audacious Lipsticks along with more MAC Lipsticks, an Urban Decay Lipstick, and a Bite Beauty Lipstick.

On the left side of my vanity I have my skincare stuff that I use on a daily basis. I have some face mists, eye creams, serums, oils, moisturizers for day to night. On the two pump containers I have Bioderma and Murad Toner on the other one. I also have two containers that holds q tips and cotton rounds. I put my everyday brushes and beauty blenders on a closed container because I have dogs, they shed, and I get hair stuck on the brushes and I find it on my face and on my eyes most of the time, also dust-free that is why the container is so useful! I also have some bobby pins, and some samples from Sephora.
**I will be doing a makeup collection once I get the things that I've been wanting, it doesn't feel complete yet so just watch out for that!
On the right side of my vanity, I have some makeup brushes that I don't use often, but I do use the ones with the protective guard on them, since they won't get dusty and dirty I just display them there.
I also have an alcohol spray bottle to quickly clean my vanity/makeup/brushes etc. I have all my lip liners in the white mug. I just have my body lotion from Aveeno and Bath and Body Works body butter in Moonlight Path which is my favorite scent.
Lastly, I have my everyday makeup in the tray, some items change just so I can use other alternatives in my drawers.

I only have these 3 types of containers for the most part because these are the perfect depth and width that could actually fit in the drawers and use more space that the square or rectangular bigger containers. I do prefer the long deep organizers because they hold more products and they are not to wide to take up a lot of space. I do have some shallow organizers that are square and rectaungular in the skincare drawer, eye drawer, and on top of my vanity.
